Wildcard are a professional four-piece live band available for weddings and special occasions. As well as providing you with the traditional band line-up for your event, a Scottish Ceilidh section is also available (with live accordianist).
The four male members that comprise the main Wildcard band are talented, versatile musicians who have a wealth of experience of providing live musical entertainment. Having worked with commercial artists and on-going premier acts across the UK, it is their collective experience and expertise that has helped them to realise what makes not only a great live band, but a fantastic night’s entertainment.
Having performed at countless weddings, corporate and pub gigs over the years, the guys put their heads together and came up with a fun and exciting new formula for a live band which refuses to follow the ‘traditional’ covers band style. The guys know that an essential part of being an entertainer is to be able to read the audience. Speak to them. Listen to them. Involve them in the show, and let everyone go home buzzing, having thoroughly enjoyed their night out.
Wildcard will provide you with a fresh, funky, vibrant show that incorporates music from today’s chart-toppers, keeping right up to date with current hits. Of course though, no band of this type would be complete without delivering the huge hits that never fail to get a dance-floor jumping. The guys play everything from 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s as well, so there should be something in there for everyone, young and old. So whether you’re throwing a wedding, birthday/anniversary celebration, fund raising event or College/Uni bash, there is fun to be had by all.
