Absent Friends are a well-loved band on the Scottish music scene and the Irish community have given them honorary membership!

Think ‘duo’ but with even more spice! The addition of the fiddle and mandolin along with vocal harmonies ignite our set with a folk rock spark and put a unique and riveting twist on our songs.

Craig, a well renowned singer/songwriter, hails from County Leitrim in the west of Ireland. In his late teens he found his singing voice and began playong guitar and writing his own material. A move to North London a few years later sparked his music career. Inspired by singer-songwriters like Damien Rice, Gavin James, Chris Stapelton but also loving the rock'n'roll of the Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses and Nirvana, Craig writes with these influences in mind whilst bringing his own unique style onto the mix.
